What To Expect

Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater

6 PM: You will be picked up at your hotel by the tour guide and you will then travel to the Water Puppet Theater. There, you can watch a genuinely spectacular puppet performance that takes place on the water surface of a pool. A modern orchestra provides the musical backdrop for the presentation, which is backed by a single vocalist and professional musician instruments.
You may learn more about Vietnamese rural folklore and diverse rural ideas and superstitions by watching the show. Many of these shows, particularly those that include tales of everyday life, sometimes have surprising endings with amusing twists.
After the play, we'll tour the city using the "Xich Lo"—once the most common mode of transportation in Vietnam—which today serves as a symbol of the Vietnamese way of life.

7:30 PM: We'll board a riverboat and have supper while we float along the Saigon River. with the environment characterized by Saigon's skyline at night and ancient folk melodies transporting us back in time.
