What To Expect

Our talented guide picks you up at your hotel (or any location requested by you). We take a taxi to Su Van Hanh Street which is one of the most crowded Saigon food areas around the old Ngo Gia Tu apartment buildings.

1st stop - a famous local food stall: see how they fry many crispy Vietnamese cakes on charcoal at the same time and how they grill beef wrapped in wild betel until pleasant. Enjoy these 2 amazing foods with vegetables, herbs, and special sauces with the help of the guide.

2nd stop - dessert shop since 1975: eat Coconut ice cream nicely decorated.

Walking about 500 meters to reach Ho Thi Ky flower market – the biggest flower market and Cambodian market hidden inside the flower market. Coming here, you have a chance to walk through alleyways lined with flower shops with thousands of colorful and sweet-smelling flowers, and immerse yourself into local life.

3rd stop: Learn to grill a Girdle cake and enjoy the crispy cake.

4th stop - Banh cuon stall: see how to cook Stuffed pancake, enjoy it with delicious toppings and dipping fish sauce.

5th stop - Bang trang nuong stall: see how they make and sample the unique Vietnamese pizza.

After that, we walk through streets and alleys and reach one of the oldest apartment buildings named Nguyen Thien Thuat. The area is overwhelmed with busy night street food stalls which are the favorite of locals.

6th stop - a 60-year snail restaurant: enjoy snail, clam and scallop dishes at and learn more about Snail eating culture of Saigon people. We also sip some local beers, cheer “1,2,3 dzo” like locals. Just experience the “Nhau” and “Snail eating” culture with your new friends.

7th stop: Banh mi or Vietnamese sandwich is a must food in Vietnam and we make sure you do not miss the best of this food in Saigon. Just come to a Banh mi stall to see how they make the crispy bread filled with lots of amazing things.

8th stop - a Nuoc mia drink stall: learn more about how to make sugarcane juice in Saigon, sip a glass of iced sugarcane juice as the great way to end our food tour.

Lastly, the guide returns you to your hotel. It is time to say goodbye, tour ends but memories last forever.
